Monday's Assignment

Hey everyone,

Here is the information for the assignment due for critique on Monday. Be sure to get out and draw for the assignment this weekend so that you have great examples for the crit.

Complete these drawings in your sketchbook (one per page):

· 1 Line Gesture Drawing
· 1 Scribbled Gesture Drawing
· 1 Mass Gesture Drawing
· 1 Sustained Gesture Drawing

Within these drawings, each one should be completed with a different drawing utensil (listed below):

· 1 drawing completed in pen
· 1 drawing completed in charcoal
· 1 drawing completed in graphite stick
· 1 drawing completed in pencil

Consider which medium works best for each style of gesture drawing. Do at least 4-5 drawings for each type of gesture drawing and pick the best for Monday's critique.
